East Coast wifi

I have been on a couple of East Coast trains today and had cause to use their wifi - a great idea, enabling me to keep in touch with the office, prospect (hi there to new clients by the way) and general surf the web - within their reasonable use clause. My only critique of this facility is that it's so slow ! Really struggled on the trip down to London to even get on-line without timing out. Return journey is slightly better but only able to open two tabs on Chrome without total slow down.

Joking aside, I've managed to get in an extra couple of hours work this evening which would otherwise have been deadtime but I wonder when a proper, free (or at least low cost) wifi network will come into being in the UK.
